"I love having all these amazing quotes in one beautiful book. It's a treasure chest of wisdom!" - Rick Gsell, Visionary/Star Builder

"The Kingdom of God is within. I heard that my whole life and had no idea what 'within' meant. I even had a picture of Jesus on my refrigerator, His blue robe parted, serenely gazing, halo shining, and pointing at his flaming heart. I didn't get it. I needed someone to help me sense the terrain of within. Through her own experience, supported by delicious scripture and poetry from many personalities, times and places, Patricia Robinett supports us to make our own connection to the divine, within." - Katie Jane Wennechuk, Business Development Manger

The Rape of Innocence The Rape of Innocence

"I am fascinated with your book. What a devastating account -- I can only praise the lucidity with which you write, in view of the awfulness of the subject matter. There are many things about FGM that we would prefer to forget. We owe a debt to people like you who will not let them be forgotten." - RC, Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland

"This important, well written book reads like a crime novel. It is highly entertaining and gets scary, especially where Ms. Robinett describes the crime scene -- I skipped that part first time through. Shocking that FGM was taking place so recently in the civilized" world, even more shocking that Male Genital Mutilation continues today. I recommend this book, it is an eye-opener." - WS

Your book was very thought provoking, and brought out some issues that are rarely discussed. Other issues were often from a fresh or different propective. Congratulations! - LM

Your book is probably the best one I've read to date about the subject of circumcision. - YBS

"Civil rights have come a long way -- lots of backsliding though at times. Child abuse is mostly out of the closet, but not this kind of child abuse. Still too big for many people. Times will change. You are doing more than your fair share to change them. Anybody who reads your book will be changed." - GF

Easy read, feels like a converstation between two close friends. The thing that surprised me about Mrs. Robinetts book is it isn't just about female/male circumcision. It hits a much deeper level -- diving into the bonding and soulful connection that should occur between a mother and her child. It made me re-anaylize my own connection with my children. If you want to learn about the effects of circumcision and reinforce the importance of deep bonding with your children -- this is a must read. - BB
